a choice

it's crunch time.
many things to do.
many things to finish.
i realize, i bit off more than i can chew.

time is never enough.
sleep becomes my enemy.
work is just too much.
i'm gasping for air, choking.

will i sink or swim?
will i live to see another day?
maybe, it's time i get out of the water
(i'll be able to do more when i'm in dry land, anyway!)
